The Association of Anatomists, Tamilnadu was started in the year 1976. It is registered under the Tamilnadu Society Registration Act bearing the registration number 144/88. The Association of Anatomists is an Academic body formed by Teachers under - graduates and post - graduate students and other interested members of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. This Association is conducting Annual Conference and Dissertation Competitions every year.
 OBJECTIVE
To promote the growth of teaching & research in all branches of Anatomy, designing curriculum & standardising examinations.
 ACTIVITIES
Holding Annual Conferences where scientific papers are presented.
CME programmes are held frequently.
Dr.MM Cooper Oration is delivered in the inaugral session of conference by renowned persons.
JOURNAL
Official journal is published once a year with the name International Journal of Anatomical Sciences. |

 Dr.Arumugam Krishnamurti Award for best paper published in journal.
Dr.Leela Krishnamurti Award for best paper presented in UG category in every session.
Dr.Jayavelu Award for best paper presented in PG category in each session.
Dr.MM Cooper award for staff category best paper presented.
Dissertation competition is also held for both UG & PG. |
